MIXOLOGY is Darren Wilsey's (a.k.a. DC Rocks) critically acclaimed debut electronica album. MIXOLOGY is a hybrid of big-beat techno, dark electronica, and modern rock. In 2001 Emmy award-winning director Thurston Smith asked Darren to write tracks for his new film Silicon Alley Stories. Several tracks from MIXOLOGY where used as the film's score. The film went on to win BEST DOCUMENTARY and BEST EDITING in the 2001 New York International Independent Film Festival and premiered in Los Angeles in July 2001. In January 2002 it was announced that the MIXOLOGY track "Trip" was the Grand Prizewinner in the electronic category of the John Lennon Song Writing Contest.
